Hi, I’m Irmela 👋

I am a Berlin-based software engineer and over the last 11 years I have had the chance to work on various projects. From large Drupal websites to complex Symfony and Rails applications, I have always most enjoyed building features that help other people organize their work or their lives.

For the past five years, I’ve held multiple leadership roles where I’ve led teams of 3 to 7 software engineers. In these positions, I concentrated on fostering their professional growth and ensuring the teams consistently met project deadlines.

I believe diverse teams build better products and I deeply care about people, clean code, performance and user experience.
